EDGE Mentoring Receives Grant From Lilly Endowment Inc.

INDIANAPOLIS (Nov. 16, 2017) – EDGE Mentoring is pleased to announce it has received a grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to fund a strategic plan for growth of the organization.

EDGE’s model pairs one established leader with a group of five to seven emerging leaders in their first decade out of college. In less than four years, EDGE has grown from six mentoring groups to nearly 90.

During these past four years, EDGE has received 501c3 status, built out its team, tripled its budget through a mix of corporate partners and donors along with starting a series of events. EDGE Burst and Women’s events happen throughout the year. The annual EDGE|X conference is held each fall, having just sold out for a second consecutive year.

“EDGE is at an exciting inflection point in our growth journey as we explore what the next chapter of our organization looks like,” said Dave Neff, President & CEO of EDGE. “We have experienced success by keeping a laser-focus on outcomes that matter. This grant for the strategic planning process will help shape our vision over the next three years as we seek to continue to sharpen and multiply the influence and impact of emerging leaders in central Indiana and beyond.”
