EDGE Women’s Holiday Mingle

We kicked off the holiday season by celebrating local female entrepreneurs for our November Women’s Event! The Well Coffeehouse in Fishers, Indiana offered up part of its space to be transformed into a small pop-up shop for our vendors. The evening was full of free coffee drinks, giveaways and support for local female-owned businesses!

Lilly & Sparrow Boutique

“Lily & Sparrow Boutique started to become a dream for us back in 2009 when we were still living in Florida. We both felt a calling to move to Indianapolis, and that journey began in April of 2012. The Lord connected us to an incredible couple at our church in September of 2013, who had an open space in the back of their hair salon. The most amazing part is they had a dream of one day having a boutique attached to the salon. Our dream became a reality on March 1, 2014 when we opened the doors to Lily & Sparrow Boutique!”

“To make a difference in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities, we partner with Artisan Businesses that share our passion for building a flourishing world. We develop these businesses through fair trade, empowering them to grow sustainably and to create dignified jobs for people who need them.”

“We empower women to become stylists, storytellers and social entrepreneurs we call Ambassadors. Over 1,700 women have joined our community and launched their own Ambassador businesses. By selling jewelry and accessories at Trunk Shows, these Ambassadors are styling their friends and changing the world!”

Redeemed Wares

“The vision for the business was born from a desire to help women find home decor pieces useful in creating beautiful surroundings for their families to enjoy. After watching a culture shift from the trap of overspending and creative financing to a more sustainable pace of purchasing, it was a vision of Meghan’s to create a collection of merchandise women could love and afford without feeling guilty about replacing items as new seasons and styles emerge.”

Ruffled Feathers Boutique

“I am Jessica Bello and I have always dreamed of owning my own boutique that would offer adorable, affordable and unique clothing, accessories, and home decor! I have always had a love of vintage and vintage inspired items, so it just seemed natural to talk with my friend Liz Henderson (EDGE’s Events & Experiences Coordinator!), the original owner of Ruffled Feathers, about my boutique dreams. Through a series of God moments, Liz decided to pass her dream along to me and so fulfilled my dream!

Peony & Pearl Vintage

“Peony and Pearl Vintage is the creative hobby of Lisa Schmitz, Mentor Coach with EDGE. P&P came about after Lisa and her daughter, wedding and family photographer Lane Lewis, were asked to host a bridal shower at Lisa’s home. With experience as a merchandiser and a retail display and design specialist, along with a hobby in floral design, Lisa and Lane were able to create an eclectic and vintage feel with a whimsical flair for their guests. Thus, Peony and Pearl Vintage was born! Lisa creates floral designs with a vintage farmhouse flair, as well as fabric garlands reminiscent of 18th century farmhouses.”
